Enjoy the gorgeous scenery as you trace the path of the lower Kickapoo River on this route, starting in historic Prairie du Chien, WI. At approximately 240 miles long, this route provides generous access to both the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers. The route also includes a visit to the hilltop apple orchards east of Gays Mills, WI where, in the fall, you can load up with all things “apple”. There is nothing better on a cool day than hot apple cider and a fresh apple donut!
